My whole life I have been obsessed with both sound and music. Growing up, I learned how to play the piano, the guitar, and sing. In college I studied music and with the hopes of becoming sound engineer. After college, I joined a band, and now am a full-time musician. Because I did not have the money to pay for professional recording, I built recording studio in my home. Over the course of a few years, I slowly added pieces of gear, until I had an almost professional setup. It was an extremely challenging task, but I learned a lot along the way. I spent hundreds of hours researching different pieces of recording equipment, how to set up a room for the best sound, and many other things. Through HomeRecordingZone.com I hope to share all that I have learned throughout this process with you, as to save you from some of the mistakes that I made when I first started.
